Schiphol hotel shuttle buses
Free hotel shuttles only cover a short list of properties — mostly the big international chains right at the airport or a stop or two away, plus the Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark a little closer to town. If you are booked into one of these, the ride is usually thrown in with your stay.
Some hotels run their own bus, others share one. You will find them all outside Schiphol Plaza, over on the far right of the bus station at stops A9–13 — just follow the yellow “Hotel Shuttles” signs.
There used to be a shared shuttle reaching central hotels too, but that Connexxion service has been discontinued — so if you are staying downtown, the train, bus or a private transfer are your best bets.

Since there is no more Amsterdam Airport Shuttle serving the Amsterdam city centre, we recommend choosing one of the following alternatives for your way into the city center:
1. Train
- Travel time: 20 min. to Central Station
- Price: € 18 p.p. roundtrip
- Frequency: 4-6 times per hour
- Main pro: fast & economic to Central Station
- Main con: transfer / walk to final destination
- Good to know: keep your bags within reach while you ride
2. Bus
- Travel time: 30-40 min. to western city center
- Price: € 11,75 p.p. roundtrip
- Frequency: 4-8 times per hour
- Main pro: economic
- Main con: only serves south-western center
- Good to know: keep your bags within reach while you ride
3. Private Transfer by Car
- Travel time: 20-30 minutes (off-peak hours) to appr. 1 hour (rush hour)
- Price: fixed price, from appr. € 50 one way
- Main pro: directly to your final destination & convenient with heavy luggage
- Main con: expensive when traveling alone
